Effective July 9, 2026. Hi, I'm Stephen. This policy covers stephenprocter.com (the “Site”) and the in-person workshops and online course I offer through Stephen Procter Studios, LLC (“I,” “me,” “my”). It explains what personal information I collect, why, who I share it with, and the choices you have.

Information I collect

Information you give me: name, email address, phone, billing and shipping details, and any message content when you book a workshop, buy the online course, join my mailing list, or write to me.

Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. I don't see or store your full card number — Stripe handles your card details to complete your purchase and any scheduled payments, and may set its own cookies at checkout. See Stripe's Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy.

Information collected automatically: the Site runs on Squarespace, which may collect standard analytics and device data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) and set cookies. See Squarespace's Privacy Policy at squarespace.com/privacy.

How I use your information

To process bookings and payments (including scheduled installments), get you enrolled and send your confirmation, handle workshop logistics, answer your questions, send the occasional newsletter if you've opted in, keep my records straight, and meet legal and tax obligations.

Who I share it with

The service providers  who help me run things: Stripe (payments), Squarespace (hosting, store, email), and my email/newsletter tool. I don't sell your personal information. I may share it if the law requires it or to protect my rights.

Cookies

The Site and my payment processor use cookies to run the store, process payments, and understand how the Site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; turning them off may affect checkout.

Data retention

I keep booking and payment records as long as I need them — to run the workshop, meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, and sort out any disputes — then delete or anonymize them.

Your choices and rights

Write to me at info@stephenprocter.com to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to unsubscribe from emails (every newsletter also has an unsubscribe link).

Data security

I use providers (Stripe, Squarespace) that maintain industry-standard security and PCI-DSS compliance for payment data. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Breach notification

If a security breach affects your personal information, I'll notify you  without unreasonable delay and no later than 45 days after I discover it, and notify the Vermont Attorney General within 14 business days (or when I notify you, if sooner), as required by 9 V.S.A. § 2435.  

Children

My workshops and Site are meant for adults; I don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

I may update this policy and will post the new effective date here.
