DESTINATIONS AND SANCTUARIES

Blithewold Mansion, Gardens & Arboretum in Bristol, Rhode Island invited me to to create and display a group of vessels for the 2016 season, an exhibition titled Destinations and Sanctuaries. Several visits inspired ideas and forms that responded to the character, topography, and plantings of the site. The vessels become quiet destinations of their own — places of stillness, memory, and reflection.
